Getting Started With Zoom Phone
Set Up Your Zoom Phone
Zoom Phone integrates with the existing Zoom software and native apps for all your favorite devices. The platform allows you to seamlessly transfer calls across devices, and even transition a voice call into a video conference call - all without interruption.
Setup Zoom Phone and integrate Zoom with your calendar and contacts
Identify your personal number and/or extension number
Configure the emergency address associated with your phone number
Set how to record/upload a voicemail greeting
*If you do not see the Phone menu option in your Zoom client, you do not have a Zoom Phone. If you need a Zoom Phone, please reach out to the Helpdesk.
Navigate Your Zoom Phone
Navigate your Zoom Phone account and start making calls from the desktop or mobile applications.

Manage call history and voicemails
Make calls
*You can test your audio by dialing *8378 (TEST) from your Zoom Phone. By calling this extension, you can speak into your microphone and the speakers will play your voice back to you.
Setting up and Checking Voicemail
In the Zoom Web Portal (nicc.zoom.us), on the left-hand navigation click Phone
Scroll to find Call Handling
Click on Edit, then select Custom to set hours
Customize the days and times you will be available to accept calls
Click OK to save the changes
Under Call Handling select which devices or numbers should ring for incoming calls
Set where the call is forwarded to when unanswered:
Forward the call to voicemail
Forward the incoming call to others
Play a message then disconnect
Disconnect from the caller
Allow callers to reach an operator
Customize your voicemail greeting: click on Audio Library to customize the greeting
Audio clips added to your account are displayed, as well as the option to Add New Audio
Zoom provides three different options for you to customize your voicemail:
Text to speech: choose a language and voice to narrate the text
Record audio directly in the browser on your computer
Upload a pre-recorded message
